This hotel owner will now be hit with a massive fine in the thousands of pounds following a series of fire safety failings at their hotel in Blackpool.
Had a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment been carried out and the requirements in the action plan completed for only a few hundred pounds, then the hotel would be safe for guests and the owner would not have been fined.
