If there is one word I would use to summarise the current world of fire safety it would be “inconsistency”. Whether it is fire risk assessors, fire brigade officers, fire engineers, fire door contractors, fire extinguisher technicians or fire alarm engineers I am seeing such a great deal of inconsistency.
It’s something I am trying to put right for my clients and customers. They should be confident to know that whoever turns up at their premises they are going to receive a consistent and professional service. It’s not about personal gain, it’s about doing things right for them regardless of cost or anything else.
